Nearly 120,000 people experienced the Formula 1® Barcelona Fan Festival
The city of Barcelona closed yesterday the event that for a whole week has brought the premier class of motor racing to the citizens for free. The Fan Village closed its doors with 80,000 attendees, while the Road Show had 40,000 spectators.

The Formula 1® Barcelona Fan Festival has far exceeded expectations. The event, which aimed to make the Formula 1 World Championship available to all citizens, concluded yesterday after a week at full capacity. Nearly 120,000 people have been able to enjoy the many activities designed around F1® over the course of the week.
Last Saturday saw the kick-off of the Fan Village in Plaza Catalunya, a free space with a wide variety of F1 activities such as simulators, wind tunnel and pit stop recreations, a selfie area with drivers, a trophy and a giant F1 logo, among many others. The attendees have also been able to enjoy an Aston Martin and Fernando Alonso showcar, a real Red Bull single-seater, a Circuit showcar with a decoration inspired by Catalan modernism, a restaurant area, a stage with daily performances and much more. Throughout these days, 80,000 people have attended the Fan Village and have enjoyed all the activities free of charge.
On the other hand, last Wednesday’s Road Show also delighted fans with an unprecedented exhibition along Paseo de Gracia.

Carlos Sainz, Jack Doohan, Pepe Martí, Mari Boya and Pedro de la Rosa entertained the 38,000 people who came to the centre of Barcelona. In addition, after the Road Show, the Fan Forum took place on the Plaza Catalunya stage, where all these drivers and many other protagonists who will be present this weekend at the FORMULA 1 ARAMCO GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA 2024 were interviewed, amidst performances, dances and various shows. Another 2,000 citizens were able to enjoy these hours of entertainment.
This Saturday 22 June, the Formula 1® Barcelona Fan Festival has ended an edition that will become part of the history of motorsport in Catalonia, fulfilling the objective of offering an F1® open to the public.
