Jak Crawford (DAMS) won the F2 Feature Race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The 19-year-old American driver started second on the grid, behind the leader of the standings, Paul Aron (Hitech Pulse Eight), whom he overtook after the pit stop. Franco Colapinto (MP Motorsport) finished second, 1.4 seconds behind the winner. Third place went to Juan Manuel Correa (DAMS), who started eighth and made up ground with a tactic opposite to the first two, using the hard tyre in the first stint and the soft tyre at the end.

The tactical diversity made the race at the Circuit quite lively and exciting, although it did not rain. Aron led the first laps, but after the pit stop he was overtaken by Crawford, Colapinto and Correa, so he finished fourth. He still finished just ahead of Isack Hadjar (Campos Racing) and thus retains first place in the championship standings with 100 points, 9 more than the French driver for Campos and Red Bull.

Saturday’s winner, Victor Martins (ART Grand Prix), was eliminated early on when he was hit by Dennis Hauger (MP Motorsport) at the first corner. Pepe Martí (Campos Racing) was involved in the incident and dropped to 17th place. Using the hard tyre at the start, he climbed up to fourth position as the other drivers stopped. In the final stint on the soft tyre, he made several overtakes and took the point for tenth place. A decisive point for the Campos team to retain first place in the teams’ standings with 119 points, ahead of Hitech Pulse Eight, which has 117.
